Our Engineering Methodology

Every project begins with a thorough site assessment and client brief. We apply the National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP 2015), the National Building Code (PD 1096), and ASEP guidelines to produce designs that are safe, cost-efficient, and permit-ready. Our Design Methodology

Phase 1

Site Assessment & Data Gathering

Soil investigation, topographic survey, utility mapping, and existing structure review. We identify geotechnical constraints and seismic zone classification before any design work begins.

Phase 2

Structural Concept & Framing

Selection of structural system — reinforced concrete, structural steel, or composite. Load path analysis, column grid layout, and preliminary member sizing based on NSCP load combinations.

Phase 3

Detailed Structural Analysis

3D structural modeling using ETABS or STAAD.Pro. Gravity, wind, and seismic load analysis per NSCP 2015 Chapter 2. Drift checks, torsion analysis, and foundation design.

Phase 4

Architectural Integration

Coordination with architectural plans for floor layouts, facade systems, and MEP penetrations. Clash detection and structural accommodation of architectural features.

Phase 5

Construction Documents

Complete set of structural drawings: foundation plan, framing plans, sections, details, and specifications. All plans signed and sealed by a PRC-licensed Structural Engineer.

Phase 6

Construction Support

Shop drawing review, RFI responses, site inspection during critical construction phases, and as-built documentation.
